96% of the planned areas are sown with soybeans in Ukraine

As of June 8, farmers sowed 6.97 million hectares with oil crops. Kurkul.com writes about it.

In particular, as of the reporting date, agricultural producers sowed 1.76 million hectares or 96% of the forecast. Farmers of Khmelnytskyi region (192.3 thousand hectares), Zhytomyr region (183.3 thousand hectares), Vinnytsia region (150.9 thousand hectares) and Poltava region (150.2 thousand hectares) sowed the most crops.
5.21 million hectares or 92% of the forecast have already been sown with sunflowers. During the week, sowing was carried out on 170.3 thousand hectares.
The most oilseeds were sown on:
Kirovohrad Region — 633,000 hectares;
Dnipro Oblast — 621.9 thousand hectares;
Mykolayiv Oblast — 463,000 hectares;
Poltava Oblast — 435,000 ha;
Odeshchyna — 420,000 ha.
