Agricultural companies received UAH 26 billion in credit funds to support their activities

During the past week, Ukrainian entrepreneurs received 508 preferential loans for a total amount of UAH 2.29 billion within the framework of the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%", including banks of the state sector of the economy concluded 319 credit agreements in the amount of UAH 1.02 billion. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
As noted, in general, during the period of martial law in Ukraine, 23,629 credit agreements for a total amount of UAH 94.36 billion were concluded within the framework of the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%", incl. by public sector banks — 17,990 transactions in the amount of UAH 50.87 billion.
"26.59 billion hryvnias from the total amount issued during the martial law are loans for agricultural producers," the message states.
Enterprises operating in the field of agriculture (53%), trade and production (23%), industrial processing (14%) are most often credited under the program. Among the regions, the Lviv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions and the city of Kyiv are the leaders in terms of the amount of concluded credit agreements.
The remaining amount of funds issued in the specified period is distributed as follows:
Entrepreneurs received UAH 0.87 billion for investment purposes;
UAH 7.1 billion — as anti-crisis loans;
UAH 4.37 billion — as refinancing of previously received loans;
UAH 55.41 billion — for anti-war purposes.
We will remind, on March 14, changes were made to the Procedure for providing financial state support to business entities, according to which the state program "Affordable loans 5-7-9%" is implemented.
