In Ukraine, the sowing campaign has already started in almost all regions. At the same time, agrarians faced one significant problem — the reservation of workers.

According to the changes, the process should follow a new procedure. However, nothing has happened for almost a month. This was reported in the European Business Association.

According to information from EBA member companies, about a month ago, the companies submitted all the necessary documents for booking, but, unfortunately, the companies have not yet received confirmation from the competent authorities, including the General Staff and the Ministry of Economy.

"The association certainly understands the importance of the functioning of the country's military front. At the same time, the issue of sowing, its quality and timeliness are issues of food security — not only for Ukraine, but also for the world. At most, the agricultural sector is the largest export industry of Ukraine, which in 2022 provided more than half of all exports, sending products worth more than 23 billion dollars abroad. currency that enters the country, in particular, and supports the stability of the hryvnia and NBU reserves. Accordingly, the European Business Association appealed to the First Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine — Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a call to speed up the consideration of documents within the framework of the new mechanism for the reservation of employees, so as not to disrupt this year's sowing campaign and not shake the next development potential of Ukraine in the agricultural sector.
