Demand for the export of Ukrainian grain to Germany has increased — transport analytics

There is an increase in demand for dump truck transportation to eastern Germany for September-October, but only a small number of carriers are ready to enter into agreements for deliveries in this period today.
This is reported by Spike Brokers.
On the other hand, the lack of active trades in the direction of Italy led to a significant decrease in the rates of transportation in this direction.
"As of July 25, 82.5 thousand mt of grain and oil crops were exported by road transport. The level of rates for domestic transportation remained without significant changes," analysts report.
Market rates for domestic transportation by rail remained at the level of the previous week. European logistics operators record a significant excess of demand over supply for railway trains for August deliveries; against this background, a slight increase in transportation rates is expected for the September-October period. There are practically no queues at railway checkpoints on the western border of Ukraine.
