Farmers sowed 1 million hectares of winter rapeseed

In Ukraine, sowing of winter crops: rapeseed and cereals is underway. As of September 18, 1 million hectares were sown with winter rapeseed.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
In particular, 585,000 hectares were sown with grain, of which:
wheat — 514 thousand hectares,
barley - 47 thousand hectares,
rye - 24 thousand ha.
During the previous week, farmers sowed 336,000 hectares of winter crops for grain.

The most winter grain crops were sown in Sumy Oblast — 84,000 ha or 81% ahead of the forecast, winter rapeseed in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — 103,600 ha or 82.5% ahead of the forecast.
