Farmers will need a license to export grain to the EU

In order to export corn, rapeseed, sunflower, and wheat to individual EU member states, farmers must obtain a license from the Ministry of Economy with the approval of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. This was announced by the Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Solskyi.
According to the plan, Ukraine will coordinate with the European Commission and importing countries the necessary list and volume of agricultural products from four crops. They determine whether they are ready to accept these cultures, when and in what volumes. Only after that, the Ministries will issue permits to agricultural enterprises to export one or another product.
"We believe that this scheme of work will satisfy all parties. And even those three countries that are currently opposing Ukrainian agricultural exports will also join this plan. Because we all have one goal - victory in this terrible war. And for this there must be mutual understanding and mutual support between us," the Minister emphasized.
We will remind you that it was previously said that the European Commission will refrain from introducing any restrictions on the import of 4 items of agricultural goods from Ukraine.
