In the first two months of 2023, the import of goods to Ukraine exceeded the export by almost 30%

During January-February of the current year, Ukraine imported goods in the total amount of $10.1 billion, while it exported goods in the amount of $6.5 billion.
This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
"Countries from which the most goods were imported to Ukraine: China - $1.7 billion, Poland - $1 billion, and Turkey - $760 million. Exports from Ukraine were the most to: Poland - $953 million, Romania - $609 million, and China - $605 million," the message specifies.

The following categories of goods accounted for 71% of the total volume of goods imported in January-February:
• machines, equipment and transport - $2.9 billion;
• fuel and energy products – $2.6 billion;
• products of the chemical industry - $1.7 billion
The top three goods exported from Ukraine in the first two months included:
• food products – $4.3 billion;
• metals and their products - $568 million;
• machines, equipment and transport – $521 million
