In Ukraine, land prices rose by 20%

Since the beginning of full-scale land, the price of land in Ukraine has increased by 20%. The average cost of a hectare in the regions today is UAH 39,000. This was reported in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
According to the Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Lyudmyla Shemelynets, from the average price per hectare of 32 thousand hryvnias in 2021, the price tag has risen to 39 thousand hryvnias today. Ivano-Frankivsk oblast - 74 thousand hryvnias, Lviv and Kyiv oblast - 56 thousand, Poltava oblast, Ternopil oblast - 40 thousand hryvnias are among the leading oblasts, where the cost of land plots is the highest.
Taking into account the wartime, part of the Ukrainian land is under occupation, another part is mined. It is noted that out of 470,000 hectares, 150,000 have already been returned to circulation after demining. The owners of such land plots are exempted from taxation for them.
The deputy minister believes that after the war, land plots in Ukraine will be more attractive for investment. It is expected that from 2024 the price of land will creep up. The cost of plots will increase by half, or even more.
We will remind that as of June 1, since the opening of the land market, more than 145,000 land purchase and sale agreements with a total area of almost 325,000 hectares have been concluded, which is about 1% of all agricultural land in the territories controlled by Ukraine.
