In Zaporozhye, the occupiers confiscate grain from farmers and prevent them from starting sowing

In Zaporizhzhia, Russian terrorists are taking grain from farmers. This is reported by the General Staff.

"In the occupied Vasylivskyi district, by order of the so-called "Russian occupation administration", grains of grain crops are brought to the local hangar from the neighboring farms and farms of the district," the General Staff report says.

Occupiers, under the guise of buying at significantly reduced prices, simply confiscate grain.

Also, in the fields of the occupied Zaporizhzhia region, the Russians continue excavation work — they dig trenches to protect themselves from the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces. By their actions, the occupiers are endangering the beginning of sowing in the region. This was reported in the Center for Journalistic Investigations.

"Increasingly, there are reports that the 'liberators' are not allowing farmers to sow their fields. "Closer to the front line, agricultural plots are mined, or active hostilities are taking place on this land," the investigators note.

But farms in the deep rear of the occupiers also fall under the ban. In particular, it is known that in the Berdyan district, farmers cannot start sowing because of the active construction of defense structures.

We will remind you that in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region, the 2022 harvest of local farmers is massively spoiled because the occupation authorities are blocking local farmers from its implementation.

"The Russian occupation administration completely blocks all local farmers from selling grain both on the domestic and foreign markets," the General Staff said.

Also, the so-called "occupation authorities" unofficially banned all local bakeries from accepting grain from local farmers.
