New limit prices for electricity were introduced for business
On June 1, the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Utilities Sectors (NKREKP) established new maximum prices for electricity for businesses. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting on May 20, writes Forbes Ukraine.
From June 1, the national regulator set the maximum limit prices on the day-ahead market (RDN) and intraday market (VDR) from 00:00 to 07:00, from 11:00 to 17:00 at the level of UAH 5,600/MWh. Previously, the price limit for 00:00 to 07:00 was UAH 3,000/MWh, for the period from 11:00 to 17:00 the prices remained unchanged.
For the time period from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00 — 6,900 UAH/MWh. Before that, from 07:00 to 08:00 — the maximum prices were UAH 5,600/MWh. From 08:00 to 11:00 they remained unchanged. At the same time, from 23:00 to 00:00, they increased from UAH 3,000/MWh.
In the evening hours from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., prices are set at UAH 9,000/MWh. Previously — 7,500 UAH/MWh.
The minimum marginal price is UAH 10/MWh.
On the balancing market, maximum limit prices are set from 00:00 to 07:00 at the level of UAH 6,600/MWh. Before this decision — 4,000 hryvnias/MWh.
In the period from 07:00 to 17:00 and from 23:00 to 24:00 the prices will be UAH 8,250/MWh. Thus, for the time period from 07:00 to 17:00, the price remained unchanged. At the same time, from 23:00 to 00:00, the price limit increased from UAH 4,000/MWh.
For the time period from 17:00 to 23:00, the price was set at 10,000 UAH/MWh, the price limit increased from 8,250 UAH/MWh.
The minimum marginal price is UAH 0.01/MWh.
