Poland did not stop the agrarian negotiations with Ukraine - the ambassador
Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Vasyl Zvarych reported that Warsaw did not stop negotiations with Kyiv on agrarian issues, reports Ukrinform.
"It is not about stopping the negotiations, because the talks continue at all levels, including at the level of the embassy. For objective reasons known to us, there was simply a need to postpone the meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of Ukraine and Poland to a later date, when the official person of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will be determined from the Ukrainian side to participate in such a meeting," he said.
It will be recalled that yesterday, May 13, Poland's Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Michal Kolodziejczak said that Warsaw interrupted negotiations with Kyiv on agrarian issues due to the resignation of ex-minister Mykola Solsky and his criminal case.
As the politician explained, the negotiations are interrupted due to the fact that some representatives from the Ukrainian side were accused of corruption. According to him, "this issue should be clarified."
"We planned another round of talks on May 14, but they were canceled," he commented.
