The agrarians of Donetsk region have started threshing early grains

Harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops has begun on the territory of Donetsk region. This was reported in the Department of Agriculture of the Donetsk Oblast.

 

In 2024, early grain and leguminous crops, as well as winter rapeseed on an area of ​​142.1 thousand hectares, will be harvested in the region.

 

As of the end of June, the harvest began in agricultural enterprises of Komarska, Andriivska, Kurakhivska and Shahivska communities.

 

As of the reporting date, grain and leguminous crops were harvested on an area of ​​2.5 thousand hectares, the gross harvest is 6 thousand tons, with a yield of 2.4 tons/ha, including threshed:

 

winter wheat — 4.5 thousand tons, with a yield of 2.28 tons/ha;

winter barley — 1.5 thousand tons, yield — 3.3 tons/ha.

 

 

We will remind you that harvesting of early grain crops has started in 16 regions of Ukraine. In total, 209.8 thousand hectares of cereals and legumes were threshed, and 721.4 thousand tons of the new crop was threshed.
