The countries that propose to limit the supply of grain from Ukraine are named

The prime ministers of Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary appealed to the official Brussels with a request to limit the amount of Ukrainian food entering the European Union. The corresponding letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, is published on the website of the Polish government. This is reported by DW, writes agronews.ua.
The scale of food imports from Ukraine, including grains, oilseeds, eggs, poultry and sugar, has increased to "unprecedented levels," the letter said. Prime Ministers call for action to stop destabilizing markets.
They offer the EU and the UN World Food Program to find a solution that guarantees that Ukrainian grain will not remain on the EU markets. The Prime Ministers also called again to allocate more funds to help European farmers and speed up the development of transport infrastructure with Ukraine. In addition, it is proposed to introduce changes to the laws on the import of agricultural products, which will allow regulating the volumes and directions of receipt.
If these measures are not successful, the tariffs and tariff quotas for Ukrainian goods should be restored, the prime ministers believe.
"Let's support Ukraine, but let's do it wisely and, above all, let's put the interests of the country and Polish farmers first," wrote Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on Twitter.
