The equator of early grain harvest has been crossed.

In 2024, the harvest of crops of the early grain group will reach about 27 million tons. Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotskyi said this.

 

According to him, the equator of early grain harvesting has already been passed.

 

"There are certain adjustments by region - in the south-eastern regions, due to the heat, the yield has decreased a little, and in the western regions - it is somewhat higher than expected. The results of the early grain crops correspond to the forecast, and we are grateful to the farmers for their work," said Taras Vysotskyi.

 

Acting the minister added that, according to a preliminary estimate, the export potential for grain crops in the current marketing year is forecast to be within 40-43 million tons.
