The price of agricultural land continues to fall

In March 2023, the weighted average price of 1 hectare of land for commodity agricultural production was UAH 35,666.

This is evidenced by the analytical data of the online map of agricultural lands of Ukraine, which was launched by AgroPolit.com together with Zemelka.ua with the support of the new land agency Volodar.

The price of land continues to fall. Yes, as of the beginning of February, it amounted to UAH 41,000. Already in March, it fell to UAH 39,000. Currently, the price has decreased by almost UAH 4,000.

During this period, 3,812 transactions of purchase and sale of land plots for commodity agricultural production (shares) with a total area of 10,346 hectares were carried out. The average size of the sold plot is 2.71 hectares.

The highest weighted average price in March was recorded in the Mykolaiv region. — UAH 67,025, and the lowest in Chernihivska — UAH 12,049.
