The price of corn has risen sharply on world markets

Wheat quotations showed growth against the background of active growth in the corn market and continued Russian speculation on the "grain corridor". This was reported by Barva Invest analysts.
Latest indications:
July Chicago wheat contract (ZWN3) — $6.33/bu (+$0.03/bu);
the September wheat contract on Euronext (EBMN3) — €238.25/t (+€3.75/t);
DAP-Port Danube (11.5%) — $171/t;
DAP-Rort Pnmx — $160/t.
"Prices on the Ukrainian market remain unchanged. Demand on the market remains limited due to the unsatisfactory performance of the grain corridor," the analysts noted.
Corn quotes showed a sharp rise — market participants continue to worry about unfavorable weather in the United States and other regions of the northern hemisphere:
the December Chicago corn contract (ZCZ3) — $5.49/bu (+$0.18/bu);
November corn contract on Euronext (EMAХ3) — €230.25/t (+€3.25/t);
DAP-Rort Danube — $167/t;
DAP-Rort Pnmx — $160/t.
Prices for Ukrainian corn remain at previous levels, but pressure on the market due to limited export opportunities continues.
