The sowing of early spring cereals was completed in Ternopil Oblast

Sowing of beans, beans and peas has also been completed.

In total, more than 137,000 hectares have already been sown in Ternopil region, which is almost 25% of the planned figure.

In addition, farmers sowed almost 12,000 hectares of rapeseed, 21,000 hectares of sunflowers and about 7,000 hectares of sugar beet.

"Warm weather favors the sowing campaign. This year, the harvest will be enough for both Ternopil Oblast and other regions of Ukraine," the agency said.

As of April 5, 852.1 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops have already been sown on the territory controlled by Ukraine. Farmers of 11 regions are sowing sunflower seeds.
