Ukraine sent 22 million tons of cargo via the sea corridor
During the six months of operation of the temporary sea corridor, Ukraine shipped more than 22 million tons of products for export.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction — the Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov on Facebook.
"More than 22 million tons of cargo of various nomenclature have been exported since the beginning of the operation of the temporary corridor through the Black Sea... Since August, more than 700 vessels have used it," the message says.
Transshipment is carried out from three ports of Great Odesa — Chornomorska, Odesa and Pivdenny.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that on the night of February 10, the ports were again attacked by Russian drones.
"Unfortunately, we have damage to the infrastructure for transshipment and destroyed grain," he said, adding that since July 18 (the last day of operation of the grain corridor), almost 200 port infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of Russian attacks on the sea ports of Ukraine, and more were affected. 26 civilians.
