Ukrainian grain is the cheapest on the world market — trader

Currently, domestic grains are the cheapest on the world market, so they are actively purchased.

Mykhailo Tymoshchuk, the head of the agrarian department of "Ligret Trading" company, said this in an interview on Latifundist.com.

"Ukrainian grain today is the cheapest on the world market. That is why it is so actively bought from us. These are the realities of wartime. Besides, Ukrainian traders don't have that many options, if you take into account how much grain is left in Ukraine," the trader explained.

According to him, the situation is influenced by the fact that Ukrainian sellers lower their own prices.

"We have already put the situation on hold. We don't buy anything for two weeks. Prices are already as low as possible, and Ukrainian traders still offer corn and are ready to bargain? How much grain do you have?", the puzzled Spaniards noted.

By the way, the president of the Ukrainian Grain Association (UZA) Mykola Horbachev believes that Ukraine will be able to export all the remaining grain of the 2023 harvest by the end of May, which will lead to an increase in its prices both on the domestic and world markets.
