"Ukrzaliznytsia is preparing a new price increase for grain transportation"

Ukrzaliznytsia plans to earn 10 billion UAH in profit from freight transportation in 2025. This was reported by Stepan Chernyavsky, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, in an exclusive interview with AgroPolit.com.

"This profit is expected to come from agrarians, as the cost of grain transportation has significantly increased. For example, in October, November, and January, the price was 3000 UAH/ton, while before the war it was 700 UAH," noted the deputy.

Members of the Agrarian Committee have appealed to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to review this issue. Currently, the AMCU has not found any violations and continues to analyze the situation.
