USDA has increased the forecast for exports of soybeans, rapeseed and sunflower oil from Ukraine

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has increased production and export forecasts of sunflower processing products and some oil crops from Ukraine in 2022/23.

This is evidenced by the department's report for March.

Thus, experts increased the estimate of the export of sunflower oil to 3.95 million tons (+100 thousand tons) and sunflower meal to 3.3 million tons (+100 thousand tons), the export of sunflower seeds remained at the level of the February forecast - 2.65 million tons

In addition, the estimate of sunflower oil production in the current season rose to 4.386 million tons (+86 thousand tons), meal — to 4.213 million tons (+83 thousand tons).

At the same time, experts increased the estimate of the export of rapeseed in the current season to 3.1 million tons (+250 thousand tons) and of soybeans to 2.1 million tons (+300 thousand tons).
